Hello! I am a self-taught mixed-media artist with a lifelong passion for drawing and creating. My art journey began as a young child. I have many fond memories of sitting for hours working on my chosen “masterpiece”. As I grew older and life got busier, I spent much less time nurturing my artistic soul. I married the love of my life in 2000 and our first child was born in 2003. By 2007 I was a very busy mom of 3. We always wanted a 4th child, but after several years we accepted that wasn’t part of God’s plan so we held a garage sale and sold everything baby related. Within six months, on January 1, 2012 the new year started with a BIG surprise- baby #4! My focus has happily been on our children since they entered the world❤️

Fast forward to the year 2020 while we were in the middle of a worldwide pandemic…I was dealing with much grief and loss after my mom passed away the previous year. By chance I picked up some watercolor brush pens and started to draw. As soon as I saw those bright colors on the paper, my world changed! That moment reignited my love of art and I have been painting nearly every day since! I truly feel that creating is the best form of therapy and it has become my lifeline.

My artwork is highly influenced by my fascination of the beauty and vastness of underwater worlds and its creatures. Along with vibrant florals and abstract forms. I find joy in the unexpected and aim to create art that speaks to the soul and leaves a lasting impression on those who encounter my creations. It is a calling that fills me with purpose and drives me to continue exploring, experimenting, and pushing the boundaries of my creativity.
